An Application is any software or system that does useful things.  In RuleClarity we refer to those 'useful things' as Behaviours.  Behaviours can be anything from sorting an email into a junk mail box or deciding if an order requires signoff.  An Application can expose any kind and any number of Behaviours to RuleClarity.
